City Centre Bus Review Survey

Liverpool City Centre Bus Re-routing: A Review

In Summer 2019, we asked bus users in Liverpool City Centre for their feedback on proposals to reroute services in the city centre in response to Liverpool City Council's £45m City Centre Connectivity Scheme (LCCCS). Over 13,000 people viewed the proposals and nearly 2,000 comments were received.

The scheme aims to make the city a cleaner, greener, more attractive place by changing how traffic moves through the city centre and making walking and cycling more attraction options. Changes to infrastructure and road layout resulted in differences to how some buses travelled around the centre from January 2021, with amended boarding and alighting locations. We would now like to reflect on the impact these changes have had to your travel experience across the city centre.
